Annual Assessment 2010

Now that the flurry of New Years week goals and pitches are complete, I would like to share with you an annual process that I have been doing for over a decade.

The key to me about this process is simple. Most people relive and recreate the same fundamental experiences over and over and over again! The reason generally speaking is simply this we as human beings are not that good at actually learning from our past, and our unconscious embedded resistance patterns attract and recreate the same types of people, circumstances, situations and choices that we have been making for most of our lives.

The fundamental law of resistance is this: Resistance breeds resistance, What you resist persists, what you resist over time you become! Simply put until we deal with our resistance and the unconscious beliefs that trigger resistance we are trapped to repeat the same patterns over and over again.

The assessment form I am sharing with you here is a simple yet powerful process to actually learn from our experience of the past year and consciously APPLY those lessons to our life this year!

Truly learning from the past is one of the most powerful ways to break the patterns of resistance in our lives. So lets get to it!

Here is a tele seminar that steps you through each stage of the form although it is stepping the participants through a shorter version of the form. Download here.

The form can be downloaded here.

This process is powerful and it works. Take the time to make sure that 2011 is all that you want it to be. You deserve it!

I will be doing a live workshop version of this free for Inner Circle members on Thursday Jan 13th, in Calgary at the Personal Best Building 6:30 – 10:00 pm

Questions You Must Answer…Self Awareness Activity (Book Excerpt)

Here is an excerpt of my best selling book “Reframe Your Blame, How To Be Personally Accountable” It is an activity that from my perspective is a BASELINE of personal awareness that all of us MUST have. Answer the questions, if this topic is of interest to you, you can still register for Personal Best Level One a 3 day transformational workshop FREE (until the end of day January 3rd 2011).

Activity – Self Awareness

Our New Family Pic!

I have not been posting much as of late because our summer has been totally nuts. In June I stepped back into Personal Best on a full time ++ basis, in July our new little man came home Jaxson Levi Fiset and in August Cory’s dad Joe went into the hospital and passed away on Sept 4th. Here is the new family pic. I will be back to regular posts shortly.

Wyatt Catching Air!

On our last trip to Blackfoot, Wyatt has demonstrated that he makes quantum improvements every time he is on his bike.  Aunty Lynn and G’ma were there so he has some fans!

I am so impressed with his abilities, next spring I will get a bike as well so we can go riding together, it will be a blast.

Finding a Childs Gift, Dirt Biking

He LOVES riding!

I firmly believe that one of the most important jobs of a parent is to help their child discover what their gifts are.  The following is a video of My son Wyatt (only 4 years old) finding one of his gifts I believe.

The video is a bit long, I edited it for Wyatt, but check it out, I was amazed at his ability.  This is only his 3rd time on the bike WOW!!

Clearly we will be doing more of this.

I am a very proud Dad  : )
