I just got back from an outstanding conference in California The Joint Venture Experience JVX for short. The event is run by 2 of my dear friends Milana Leshinsky and Rich German the two hiding hands to my right in the picture. I had the privilege of being one of a group of panelist on “The JV Shark Tank” a take off of the TV show where up and comers pitch their idea to us to see if we will partner with them, it is really a ton of fun and the combined brain and business power on the panel was stunning.
Most of the people pitching to The Shark Tank got JV deals and those who did not received some of the best “Free Masterminding” with industry leaders. It never ceases to amaze me the power of a group of people working together for the purpose of solving a problem, serving a person or attaining a goal. This is the primary reason I have spent much of my time in the last 90 days developing and delivering my new program the “Launch Your Mastermind 90 Day Bootcamp” which teaches authors, coaches and consultants to design and deliver mastermind groups to their specific tribes. If you are interested in breaking the time for money bind (who isn’t) check out the webinar here.
Back to the concept of Joint Ventures and building lasting relationships.
Over the past 4 years I have been blessed to meet and work with some of the great movers and shakers in the personal development and internet marketing space. Some of those experiences have been stellar and some have been “meh”. When I evaluate and compare the great with the not so great there is a powerful theme. The great ones are those that I had REAL RELATIONSHIPS with, not just I will mail to my list if you mail to your list.
Now you know if you have been following me or have worked with me that when something strikes me or resonates with me I MUST act upon it! Upon further reflection I realized that I have been a ton of time and money traveling meeting people doing joint ventures when RIGHT AT HOME, in Western Canada there are probably 500 people that I should meet and we could support one another locally!!
These 2 realizations lead me to create The Banff JV Summit last year. A small intimate, hand picked group of primarily regional business people who are dedicated to building their business and doing so with other great people. We have people from ALL areas and types of businesses and have a ton of fun together (think wine tasting, skiing, canoeing). The amazing thing out this is that the ROI for attendees has been reported at 1000% to over 3000% (yes thousands of % ROI!) If you are interested in meeting and working with great people, supporting them to build their business and have them support you. Visit the site, I have 5 open seats left and i would love to talk to you and see if it is a fit.
